The Van Gogh exhibit at the National Gallery of Canada is one of the most comprehensive Van Gogh collections ever put together. It is a mixture of loaned pieces from private collectors all over the world, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam as well as a few that the National Gallery already owned. The were a few actual openings for media, patrons of the arts, as well as sponsors.

photoVanBeek was invited to capture these events with some great results. We were treated to the culinary delights of Tulips & Maple, a private tour of the exhibit as explained by the curator of the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam, as well as a full orchestra playing in the Great Hall of the Gallery. It was a pleasure to photograph.
